Harold Larson

Harold Larson, born on March 19, 1938, made his name as a baseball pitcher, first coming into the spotlight from 1954-56 at Stadium High School. He continued to refine his craft, and at the same time earn notoriety, as a pitcher for Woodworth during the summers of 1956 and 1957. A two-year stint in 1957-58 at Olympic Junior College in Bremerton led to his jump to professional baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 1959. He later coached youth baseball in the Metropolitan Park District programs for a decade, and served as an assistant coach at his high school alma mater.
