Truly one of Tacoma's all-time greats....Known as "Lefty" to most....Unquestionably, the strikeout king in Tacoma baseball history....Played for Cammarano in the 1931 City League, for Kimball's in the 1933 City League, and for Pacific Match in 1934 where he led the league with 85 K's in 105 innings....Played for W.I.L. Tacoma Tigers from 1937-40 where he was named to the All-Star team three years....Other W.I.L. accolades are too numerous to mention....Also played for the Tacoma in the Shipbuilders League.
