Jack McStott

Born November 15, 1928 in Puyallup and passed away on July 3, 1998. Graduated from Puyallup High School in 1947. Jack played American Legion baseball in 1944 and graduated from Western Washington where he played four years on the football and baseball team. Jack was a first-team All-Conference catcher in 1946 and 1947 and was selected to play in the All-American Boys Baseball game in Seattle in 1946. He taught and coached in the Clover Park School District for 34 years. Jack's life revolved around baseball so much that in 1943 Jack and Cliff Simpson rode their bicycles from their homes in Puyallup to Seattle and back to watch the Seattle Rainiers play.
