Played for Eatonville in Valley League, and for Kimball's, Superior Dairy, Johnson Paint, G.M.C. Trucks, Model Lumber, and Publix Garage in the Tacoma City League....Also with Olympia, Bremerton, and Tacoma in the Northwest and Timber Leagues, and for Medical Lake in the Eastern Washington League....Won the Valley League batting title in 1935 with a .490 average, the 1936 Valley League title with a .591 average, and the 1940 Tacoma City League batting title with a .422 average (and no, his brother-in-law was not the official scorer).... Hit three HR's against three different pitchers in 1937 at Natatorium Park in Spokane.
